How Scerion handles data.
This starter privacy policy explains what information Scerion may collect, why it is used, and what choices users have.
Who I am
Scerion is a Windows desktop application created by AgentHyped. Scerion helps users control app volume, profiles, automations, game launching, custom commands, and voice workflows.

Data We Collect
Data stored locally on your device
- App settings, preferences, pinned actions, and voice keybind choices.
- Saved profiles, automations, custom commands, and game favourites.
- Local diagnostic logs when Scerion needs to help troubleshoot an issue.
- Voice command history shown inside the app, stored locally by the app UI.
Data that may be sent to Scerion services
- Creator access code redemption details, randomly generated device identifiers, tier status, and validation timestamps.
- Patreon linking status and membership tier information needed to unlock paid features.
- Feedback messages, optional contact details, and optional diagnostics if submitted by the user.
- Basic release, download, or install telemetry used to understand whether builds are being used.
Scerion is designed to process wake word detection and command transcription locally on the user's device. Scerion does not intentionally upload raw microphone audio to Scerion servers for voice recognition.
How We Use Data
- To run the app features the user chooses to use.
- To remember settings, profiles, automations, custom commands, favourites, and pinned actions.
- To check access codes, Patreon membership tier, and feature entitlement.
- To deliver stable and early build update checks.
- To respond to feedback, bug reports, and support requests.
- To improve reliability, diagnose crashes, and understand whether releases are installing correctly.
When Data Is Shared
Scerion does not sell personal data. However, Scerion will never operate with third-party services that do not meet reasonable privacy standards or that would use data for marketing, advertising, or other non-essential purposes. Scerion will also never share or store unnecessary personal data unless required for core features, security, or legal compliance, in which case that data will only be accessed stricly by myself, the creator of Scerion.
- Patreon may process membership and payment information under its own privacy terms.
- Discord may receive Rich Presence activity if the user enables that feature.
- Hosting and database providers may process technical data needed to run the website and backend.
How Long Data Is Kept
Local app data remains on the user's device until the user deletes it or uninstalls/removes Scerion data. Backend data is kept only as long as it is needed for access validation, support, security, release tracking, or legal and operational requirements.
Your Rights
Depending on where a user lives, they may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain uses of their personal data. Users may also be able to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.

Security
Scerion uses reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. No software or online service can guarantee absolute security, but Scerion aims to limit what is collected and keep sensitive workflows local where possible.
Children
Scerion is designed for users aged 16+ and is not intended for or marketed to children under this age. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
Changes To This Policy
This policy may be updated as Scerion adds features, changes backend services, or improves privacy controls. The date at the top of the page should be updated whenever meaningful changes are made.
